Au Perier terms & conditions
“Au Perier is a tiny, very relaxed village with its own houses. It has a square, a swimming pool, a 'salle des fêtes' and a vegetable garden for its own temporary inhabitants. And that is exactly what you are going to be in our tiny village; a very welcome temporary inhabitant.”
Annemieke den Uijl, Au Perier
However some terms and conditions are necessary. These terms & conditions are binding for Au Perier and for persons that reserve and/or rent and/or stay at Au Perier (‘guest’).
Prices
Prices include bed linen, towels, cleaning at change over, tourist taxes, firewood and the ‘meet and greet’ dinner (including aperitif and wine) on the Monday or Tuesday. The refundable damage deposit is € 300 (three hundred Euros).
Payment conditions
There are two steps:
- 30% of the rental cost when reserving (this payment confirms the booking).
- 70% of the rental cost plus the refundable damage deposit of € 300 (three hundred Euros) not later than one month before the start of the rental period.
If a reservation is made less than one month before the start of the rental period then 100% of the rental cost plus the refundable damage deposit is payable. Rental cost payments are not refundable. It is recommended that the ‘guest’ arrange appropriate travel cancellation insurance. The refundable damage deposit will be refunded within 14 days of the end of the rental period (in the event that there is no damage or loss to the holiday property, including equipment and utensils, or the terrain that was caused by the ‘guest’ or someone in their group).
Changeover day
The changeover day is Saturday. On the arrival Saturday the ‘guest’ will have access to the holiday property from 16.00. On the departure Saturday the ‘guest’ will vacate the holiday property not later than 10.00. Cleaning at changeover is included in the price. The ‘guest’ is responsible for leaving the holiday property ‘empty & swept’ (Dishes washed and back in the cupboard. Fridge empty. Microwave, fridge, cooker and oven clean. Furniture back in the original place). In the event that this is not done then the refundable damage deposit will be reduced by the additional cleaning costs incurred. In the event of a rental period of more than a week then, in agreement with the ‘guest’, bed linen, towels and table cloths will be replaced/changed.
Damage
Au Perier terms & conditions In the event that there is damage or loss to the holiday property (including equipment and utensils) or the terrain that was caused by the ‘guest’ or someone in their party then the refundable damage deposit will be reduced by the costs to repair damage or make good the loss. In the event that the costs to repair damage or make good the loss exceed € 300 (three hundred Euros) then the ‘guest’ is liable for those additional costs. Au Perier will produce an invoice with supporting documentation for the ‘guest’s’ insurance. It is recommended that the ‘guest’ arrange appropriate insurance.
Behaviour
“Holidays must be pure relaxation. You need quiet surroundings, you must forget the rush of your work and the city. You need to sleep comfortably, eat well and get some exercise when you feel like it. You need to be able to sit outside in privacy, inside with your own music and meet some people if you want to." The number of ‘guests’ should not exceed the sleeping capacity of the holiday property. Children count as ‘guest’ for this purpose. A baby using a cot bed is also counted as a ‘guest’. Obviously it is not permitted to cause a nuisance for neighbours or other ‘guests’, this includes music. Tents are not allowed. The ‘guest’ and their group are welcome to park their vehicle near the holiday property on arrival and departure and to drop off shopping etc. The normal parking location is the small car park near the entrance to Au Perier. Pets are not allowed. Garbage should be disposed of in the containers in Sainte Sabine Born. Paper, plastic, carton, tin and glass are sorted. This will be explained on arrival at Au Perier. The ‘guest’ is liable for damage and responsible for nuisance caused by the ‘guest’ and/or their group. Annemieke den Uijl and Nick White, owners of Au Perier, are not liable for loss or injury sustained as a result of a stay on the Au Perier terrain, or as a result of using the facilities, equipment and utensils provided by Au Perier. Parents are responsible for their children, also at the unsupervised swimming pool.
